Each repair is assessed on a case-by-case basis so that we can get you the best price possible. We want repairing your gear to feel worth it to you! Here’s a rundown of some sample repairs:
Shop Minimum: $15
Simple Patches: $15+
Complex Patches: $35+
Technical Zipper Replacement (i.e. rain shells, etc.): $80
Simple Zipper Replacement: $40
Zipper Pull Replacement: $20

The outdoor industry is not immune to our wasteful habits and most of our technical gear & clothing is made with petroleum products. Fixing your stuff before throwing it out saves you money and supports the planet.
Repairs can be tricky, but we love doing them! The longer you can keep your jacket in use, the fewer jackets you’ll need over the span of your lifetime, which equates to fewer fossil fuel emissions in the atmosphere and less “junk” piling up in the landfill.

More on zippers…
Zippers are often the weakest link on our jackets and packs. Why is it so expensive to replace them? Basically, it’s a pain in the butt to remove them. Most manufacturers aren’t planning ahead for a repair when they design an item and the zippers all get sewn in mid-process. So in order to make it look nice when we replace a zipper, we have to take a lot of the pieces apart and put them back together, which takes time. For a great article on the matter, click here.
BUT we still want it to be worth your time and money to repair your stuff, so we’ve come up with a few different options. Prices below are for jackets and items similar to those pictured. We can also fix all sorts of other zippers too, like those on pockets, duffel bags, bike bags, and backpacks! Email us for more info.
Snaps $30+
Want your jacket to work without breaking the bank? Snaps are a quick and easy repair for us, so we can keep your costs down! You can choose between metal (more durable) and plastic (more fun colors) snaps. The simplest snap fix will make your jacket fit a little tighter. If you want to keep the same fit, we can also add a little flap for the snaps for an extra $15.
Simple Zip $40+
Most of the labor cost involved in replacing a zipper comes from delicately pulling out all the stitches holding in the busted zipper and then lining everything back up once the new zipper is back in. A more affordable option is to have us cut off the teeth of your old zipper and sew a new on on top. It looks slightly different, but it still works great. The photos below show the simplest version of this, with a slightly offset zipper. We can also line the zipper up so it’s centered, generally for an extra $5-10, depending on the zipper.
Full-On Zipper replacement $80+
